Shawn Casey O’Brien is the former Executive Director of the Unique People’s Voting Project (UP) and was instrumental in registering and getting out the votes of a hundred thousand disabled citizens and their families. He is also the former lead singer/songwriter of the 1980’s Los Angeles punk band The Cripples. He lives in Santa Monica, California where he brews award winning beers and premium dry meads.
